As we begin year 32, we would like to take some time to make you aware of some policy updates that we have implemented for 2024.
Event Protection Plan
The optional Event Protection Plan is available for all customers to add to their contract, which will allow for 1 reschedule, for any reason, within 365 days of the original contract date. The Event Protection Plan is 10% of the contract total, before sales tax. If a customer decides to add the Event Protection Plan after their contract is signed, they can do so up until 2 weeks prior to the event day at 20% of the contract total, before sales tax. If a contract is written within 2 weeks of the event date, the Event Protection Plan can only be added before the contract is signed. This is added at the regular rate of 10% of the contract total, before sales tax. The customer must notify of the reschedule at least 48 hours before the day of rental. If notice occurs 48 hours or less prior to the day of rental, even with the Event Protection Plan, the customer forfeits 100% of the contract. If a customer opts out of the Event Protection Plan, they cannot reschedule the contract.
Note: prior to 2024, each contract was able to reschedule, with at least 48 hours notice prior to the day of rental, to a date within the same calendar year as the original contract date. If you have a contract in place for 2024 that was written in 2023, the original policy applies to your contract. If you would like to add the Event Protection Plan to your current contract, which would allow you to reschedule within 365 days, you can do so at 10% of the contract total, before sales tax.
Waivers/Indemnification
Amusement Rental Industry Insurance now requires that all riders, regardless of age, must have a completed release of liability, waiver of claims, express assumption of risk and indemnity agreement to participate in any of the following: Mechanical Bull, Mechanical Football, Mechanical Meltdown – 4 Player. Each item requires its own waiver and is only valid for that particular event. We will keep a copy of the completed waiver for each participant and riders with completed waivers will receive a wristband to wear for the duration of the event, signaling they are approved to participate.
Updated Prices & Party Package Deals
There have been price adjustments for a number of rental items, but many item prices remain the same as the past 2 years. We have also added 3 new party packages for 2024: LED Package, Grand Carnival Package and Sports Bar Package. In addition to these new packages, we have added additional items to some existing packages. Our party packages offer a variety of items for all ages and skills and many can be picked-up to save on delivery fees.
