Coming May 2010!

A-1 Amusment & Party Rental is now accepting reservations for our new all-in-one inflatable movie screen and projector/Wii game system.  This unit has a 12' inflatable movie screen, custom built projection system with a built-in Wii game console, wireless microphone and wireless speakers.  This system is ideal for events up to 500 people. Vast electronic knowledge is not necessary; this system was built with the "average Joe" in mind.  All the work is already done for you, just plug it in and you are ready to play!

First Attendant Training Session a Success

Last night's attendant training session was full of information, fun and new faces.  All trainees were able to enjoy food and beverages while learning how to properly run equipment. Not able to attend the first training session, but still interested in being an attendant for A-1 Amusement & Party Rental?

SLAM DUNK added to inventory

Move over Michael Jordan! Now anyone can "Slam Dunk"! You no longer have to be 7 foot tall to dunk a basketball. The object of the game is for the player to run down the inflatable track and with the help of an inflatable trampoline which helps launch the player towards the hoop for a "Slam Dunk". (This is easier said than done!)

Annual Ride Attendant training dates announced

Haiti Relief Fund

A-1 Amusement & Party Rental has donated one thousand dollars to the American Red Cross to assist with emergency relief efforts in Haiti, following the earthquake that has devastated the island nation.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all the people who are assisting with the clean-up and rebuilding efforts.

Ohio Department of Agriculture Ride Safety Seminar

On January 12th, 2010 A-1 Amusement & Party Rental hosted the Ohio Department of Agriculture Ride Safety Seminar for the 7th consecutive year. A-1 Amusement & Party Rental successfully licensed all 70 inflatables that require licensing for 2010.  A-1 Amusement & Party Rental has maintained proper licensing through the Ohio Department of Agriculture since 1992.

*A-1 Amusement & Party Rental is also licensed in the state of Kentucky for 2010.  The state of Indiana does not require inflatables to be licensed.

Food Fight:  Backdrop features a school lunch room with a hole in the middle of the back drop. Using a stomp launcher, contestants launch the cream pies (wet sponges) at the volunteer whose face is sticking out. If you do not have a volunteer, they can try to launch the cream pies through the opening to win. Can be used inside or outside. Comes with (3) sponges and (1) stomp launcher.

Inflatable accident in Middletown, Ohio

A-1 Amusement & Party Rental was in NO way involved in the unfortunate incident involving an inflatable slide at an event at Goldman Park in Middletown Ohio on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

On Wednesday, July 1, 2009, Don Maslyn, the President of A-1 Amusement & Party Rental Inc., was interviewed by Karin Johnson with Channel 5 News about that incident in Middletown, Ohio. The purpose of the interview was to help educate the public on what to be aware of concerning safety while attending an event that may have inflatable rides. Mr. Maslyn's 17 years of experience have made him an expert in the inflatable ride industry.
